Tucker Paving is proud to have played a role in the construction of Disney’s Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort.

The project is truly a sight to behold. Inspired by the 1946 animated feature “Destino,” which was a collaboration between Walt Disney and renowned surrealist Salvador Dali, the Gran Destino Tower draws on the powerful imagery of that film to add an evocative accent to the already breathtaking charm of Coronado Springs Resort. Tucker Paving is proud to have been instrumental in the execution of this incredible project.

For two and a half years, Tucker Paving was committed to providing the groundwork that needed to be done in order to support this grand undertaking. Approximately 15-16 feet of fill dirt had to be imported. We worked in conjunction with Balfour Beatty. It took three years for the entire hotel to be completed. The final product definitely justified the time and effort that went into its construction, featuring such aesthetic details as ornate metal work and decorative tile.

A lot of work goes into preparing a plot of land for a project such as this. Tucker Paving is proud to offer a complete menu of services to complete this goal, such as site clearing, site grading, stabilized subgrade, base work, asphalt paving, underground utilities, and finishing details such as curbs, sidewalks, and tie-beams. Before the Gran Destino could rise and soar in its glory and elegance, the hard work of preparing the land had to be done.

Tucker Paving offers all of the site prep services you will need for your next building project, and we have years of experience working on a wide variety of projects, including theme parks, subdivisions, schools, small businesses, churches, mini-warehouses, public sector road work, FDOT, and much more. We have done business extensively with both city and county entities. You know you are hiring the pros when you go with Tucker Paving.
