2024 Highlights
30-Year Anniversary
In November, Tucker Paving celebrated our 30-year anniversary. Tucker Paving, Inc. began on November 21, 1994, and we have grown by leaps and bounds since then. Our company’s most important asset is our employees; the people that make up our company are the cornerstone of all our success since November 21st back in 1994. We know that 2025 will bring more of the same!
Continuing Safety
As part of keeping our company focused on our people, Tucker Paving makes safety a priority. We know that the key principle that drives our safety success is the expectation that everyone, from the company President to the newly hired team member, shares the responsibility of achieving the highest level of safety performance in our operations. We are so proud to report that everyone’s hard work has paid off and we’ve reached 3.8 million hours without a lost time accident!
Tucker Paving will continue our focus on safety into 2025 and beyond. In the first quarter of 2025 we will again hold our Boots on Us event. It’s an event where we outfit our crews with new steel-toed boots bought by the company. Having quality PPE that fits well, is comfortable, and lasts a long is a first step in foot safety and slip, trip, and fall safety; we’re happy to provide that for our crews!
A Focus on Education
Tucker Paving is proud to also focus on continuing education. We have a tuition program in partnership with Polk State College for both employees and their students. Interested employees can get more information and apply through the Tucker Paving Human Resources (HR) department.
