Scholarship Application is Now Open, deadline to apply is February 28th, 2026

We are proud to support the next generation through the Tucker Scholarship program. Any high school senior who is a child or legal dependent of a current Tucker team member and plans to enroll full-time at Polk State College is eligible to apply.

Scholarship Reward:
One selected recipient will receive a $3,200.00 scholarship for one academic year.

Applications will be evaluated based on:
– Scholastic standing
– ACT or SAT scores
– Extracurricular Activities
– Career Goals
– Essay

Important Reminder:
Team members must submit a Verification of Employment form directly from the HR department. W-2 or paystubs will NOT be accepted. This verification must be attached to the student’s application for it to be considered.

Finalists will be required to attend an in-person pre selection interview at the Tucker Paving office on a date determined by the Scholarship Committee.

2025 Scholarship

Amanda Allen

Amanda Allen, a proud 2025 graduate of Lake Region High School has demonstrated dedication and drive. During her time at Lake Region, she played softball all four years and was actively involved in FFA, gaining valuable hands-on experience in agricultural fieldwork, something she truly loved. Amanda plans to pursue a career in physical therapy, with the goal of becoming a physical therapy assistant. When asked how she felt about receiving the scholarship, she said she was “extremely excited” and grateful for the opportunity to further her education and move closer to her career goals.

Her connection to Tucker runs deep- both her father and grandfather have worked in our estimating department, proudly contributing to the company’s legacy. Amanda shared, “Tucker Paving is a very family-oriented business, and if you need help with anything, they’ll always be there.” She extends her heartfelt thanks to her parents and the entire Tucker family for their unwavering support and for making this incredible opportunity possible.
